The checks that keep plans, elevations, frames, handing, hardware, and finish intent from drifting apart.
Reconcile the documents
Read plans, elevations, details, schedules, specifications, and addenda together. When they disagree, record the conflict before converting it into a quantity.
Separate type from location
A repeated door type can still carry different handing, frame, finish, rating, or hardware by location. Preserve both the type and the opening mark.
Control revisions
A clean takeoff can become wrong after one revision. Keep the document date, addendum, affected openings, and approval tied to the release record.
