From community standard to house release
An illustrative review of a common interior finish package across plans, elevations and approved options.
The planning question
How can the community keep a consistent finish standard while each house receives its selected plan and options? Start with a shared specification, then record the differences rather than issuing a generic package.
The working structure
Use a community standard, current plan and elevation reference, approved option list and individual house release. Keep opening IDs linked to quantities, handing, hardware functions and any option that changes the opening.
The release review
Check the house identifier, current revision, selected options, PO or release reference, receiving contact and included work. Any unresolved item remains visible for a decision before the affected package is confirmed.
A planning example, not a claim of completed Abel work or a promised outcome.
