Bring one upcoming house.

A starting brief for the builder, PM and design team.

Start with what is current

Share location, stage, plan revision, elevations and available opening schedules. Mark incomplete or superseded documents so settled scope stays separate from open questions.

Name the people and scope

Identify builder, PM, designer and participating owner. List materials, installation interests, timing and the final approval contact.

Read bring one upcoming house.

Turn a palette into a specification.

Keep the feeling of the room while making actual products clear.

Compare together

Review door, profile and hardware references together. Study proportion and physical samples under the home’s light, then identify the products that carry that direction through the rooms.

Record the exact basis

Write material, dimensions, construction, frame, hardware function and preparation against each room or opening. Keep alternates separate for approval.

Read turn a palette into a specification.

Prepare a selection meeting.

Make the house’s base, options and approval route easy to follow.

Before the meeting

Agree builder-offered choices, the base package and room exceptions. Gather plans, product references and samples; identify decisions affecting preparation or lead time.

After the meeting

Record choices against rooms and opening IDs. Route option prices, changes and questions to the builder. Confirm which selection-site, spec-book or digital trim-walk support will be set up.

Explore the Design Center.

Use the existing public studio to collect a starting look.

A starting board

Explore the studio and collections to bring your material direction together. Check the save status or keep a share link to return, then use the board to brief your builder and the Abel team.

Questions, answered

Before the next step.

Can we begin with one house?

Yes. Share location, stage, current plans and requested materials. Begin while some selections are open; final products, scope and responsibilities are confirmed before release.

Can our designer or homeowner participate?

Yes. Identify participants and the builder’s approval contact. The builder controls options, selling prices and final approval; a participant’s selection does not release an order.

Do you supply materials and install?

Choose material-only supply or discuss project-defined installation. The proposal states materials, preparation, installation, surrounding work and exclusions. Availability and sequencing are confirmed for the home.

Are selection sites ready automatically?

The public catalog, design studies and Design Center are available to browse. A house-specific selection site, spec book, digital trim-walk support and account access need setup and confirmation.

Where do we see our account pricing?

Sign in for your approved account pricing. For a new home, a changed configuration or help setting up access, bring the scope to the team for a project quote.

What should we send first?

Send location, stage, plans or references, scope, desired timing and builder or design-team contacts. Note document revisions and decisions already approved.
